Mingmar was born and raised in the Everest region. In 2011 he decided to start his career as a mountain guide. This came naturally for him as many members of the Sherpa community engage in the Himalayan tourism.
He did the official training and became a licenced Mountain Guide in 2016 and from then on he started to work with clients from all over the world, mostly from France and Germany.
Being raised in the Himalayas, belonging to the Buddhist community, makes him a perfect person to introduce Nepalese culture to tourists interested in getting a real and unique experience that cannot be given by any foreign tour agency.
He´s responsible for designing itineraries of our trips where his goal is to include as many local hidden gems as possible. He also manages all our staff in Nepal. He makes sure all our clients get the best service possible and are well taken care of.
Karolina was born in Poland but after graduating from a Medical University she decided to move to Portugal. Travelling was always one of her biggest passions and when in 2021 she decided to visit Nepal, she immediately fell in love with the country.
Together with Mingmar they connected about their love for nature and mountaineering.
She´s specialised in Anesthesiology, did her post-graduation in Intensive Care and Emergency and after one of the climbing trips in the Alps, she completed a High Altitude Medicine Course. She will be responsible for giving guidance to clients regarding the medical concerns around travelling to Nepal.
