After receiving your booking request, we will contact you to discuss your previous trekking experience and physical condition.
Our goal is to introduce Nepal and Nepali culture to all people interested in getting to know this beautiful country. We offer trips that are more directed toward cultural experience that are suitable for everyone. Our treks however are all on higher altitude which puts an extra effort on your body. For group treks, you need to be able to walk slowly for around 5-7h/day. If this is not possible for you but you would still like to hike in the Himalayas we can organise a customised trek for you that would be adequate to your pace and physical performance.
Yes, all our treks are on high altitude which puts an extra stress on your body. Your safety is our priority so before your trip we will evaluate your health, help you decide which trip is the most adequate for you. During the de-briefing dinner, we discuss the symptoms of the altitude disease, how to prevent and how to treat them.
During high-altitude treks, you evaluated daily by our guides who are all trained in First Aid and know how to react in case there is any medical concern.
For each trip, we send you a detailed checklist after you confirm your booking. To have an idea we also put the resumed information in the field “practical information” at the end of every trip offer on our website.
Yes, we can help you rent some equipment at extra charge if you like. Remember that some personal equipment you need to buy for yourself, like clothes or comfortable shoes.
We don´t like any hidden costs and we want to make life easier for our clients so almost everything that is essential for your trip is included in the price.
What we didn’t include in the price is usually something that is very variable, for example depends on your preference, time of arrival, personalised plan for your stay.
You can always confirm the resumed information in the field “Included/Not included” on every offer on our website.
After you fill up the request form we will contact you and also explain you what may be charged extra but this information depends on the type of the trip you want to book.
During our stay in the city areas we provide a place in a twin room on the level of good Western standard.
In more remote areas where infrastructures have to be adapted to mountain conditions we stay in teahouses/lodges where we always chose the highest quality available for the type of trek you decide to book.
We provide all the essential meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) during the trip phase meaning during trekking or cultural trip that you booked. The only meals that are not included are on the day of your arrival and to Nepal and after breakfast on the last day of the trip as at that point you may be going back home or continuing your adventure in Nepal without is.
During our extra trips meals that are included are described in the offer.
Meals served are usually western type of breakfast in the cities or regional cuisine in the remote areas. Dietary restrictions and requests should be discussed at the booking phase.
We take care of your luggage as long as it´s maximum 15kg. During treks, it will be carried by a porter as you need to save your energy in order to adapt better to the high altitude.
If you exceed 15kg you need to cover extra expenses like extra weight during flight and extra porter help.

No, it´s always up to you to decide but if you´re happy with the service it´s very common to leave a tip as an appreciation of work of local people.
Most of tourists decide to leave a tip to guides and porters after the trek is finished and the amount depends on a personal decision. We will give you estimated values in the information brochure after your booking.
In some restaurants a service charge would be included in the bill. If not it´s common to leave 5-10% tip.
